The timepiece serves as a commemoration to Doxa’s longstanding partnership with Italian luxury retailer, Gioielleria Grande. Drawing inspiration from the cityscape of Rome, this unique timepiece sports a mesmerising dark gradient dial that instantly commands attention.

Staying true to its roots, the SUB 200 Grande Roma carries forward the familiar SUB 200 design, a series that swept the horology world in the late 1960s with its usability in professional diving. Its contemporary versi on, however, is not only more wearable but also more accessible for the aspiring horophiles.

Crafted from stainless steel, the 42mm case replicates the classic SUB 200 silhouette, water-resistant up to 200 meters. The timepiece is enveloped in a ‘glass box’ sapphire crystal that resonates beautifully with its vintage charisma. A unidirectional rotating steel bezel, adorned with luminous markings for underwater timing, encircles the dial elegantly. At the rear, the screwed caseback sports an impressive engraving of Rome’s iconic Colosseum alongside limited-edition numbering, adding a touch of heritage and exclusivity.

Internally, the timepiece is powered by the reliable Sellita SW200 automatic movement, boasting a power reserve of approximately 38 hours.
