Kollokium Pushes the Envelope of Innovation with Projekt 02 Variant B's Complex Topographical Design

Kollokium, propelled by the skilled partnership of Manuel Emch, Barth Nussbaumer, and Amr Sindi, has blazed a revolutionary trail in the clock-making world. Rather than confining themselves to the norms of watchmaking, they have opted for an unconventional, wildly creative outlook moulded by the philosophy of neobrutalism. With their Projekt 02 Variant B watch, the trio has proven that creativity knows no bounds. Sharing similarities with their earlier Projekt 01, the Projekt 02 Variant B astounds onlookers with its intricately designed, vertically stacked dial with a mesmerising gradient layout shifting from grey to pitch black across its nine layers. The dial, consisting of 67 individual parts, reinterpretes the conventional timekeeping display in a way unheard of before, taking the concept of design to a whole new level. Shunning traditional milling methods, the timepiece’s case is crafted from die-cast 316L steel, chosen specifically for its uniquely textured appearance.
