Bremont’s aviation-themed watch collection, Altitude, gets a playful addition: the MB Meteor Felix the Cat watch, marrying historical influence with a touch of whimsical charm.

Bremont, known for its aviation-inspired wristwatches, recently expanded its Altitude collection with the inclusion of the Altitude MB Meteor Felix the Cat edition. Developed in collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, the character Felix the Cat features prominently, representing a symbol of courage, humour, and luck within the high-stakes world of aviation. Since the growth of U.S. naval aviation, Felix has been a staple in squadron insignia, including being depicted on the VFA-31 Tomcatters, whose emblem showcases Felix cheekily carrying a bomb.

The pièce de résistance is the black dial which shoots a clear nod to Felix the Cat. The dial also pays homage to the mischievous cat’s aviation legacy with a design of Felix playfully fleeing with the numeral six, a fun nod to the common aviation phrase ‘Watch Your Six’. The Altitude MB Meteor Felix edition employs Bremont’s calibre BB14-AH, based on a La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement. This calibre executes at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a 68-hour power reserve. This special edition wristwatch is available on either a DLC-coated titanium bracelet or a black leather strap, and capped at a limit of 500 pieces. This limited amount only enhances its exclusivity and allure.
