Perrelet Unveils a Timeless Art Piece: the Weekend Malachite Watch with Mesmerising Stone Dial

Published: 27 Feb 2026
The watchmaking maestro, Perrelet introduces the latest offering in their Weekend collection, the Weekend Malachite, adding a hint of panache to tradition.

Abraham-Louis Perrelet, a revolutionary figure in horology, established an indelible presence with his prolific work in automatic winding timepieces. The present-day Perrelet brand, celebrated largely for its inventive Double Rotor and Turbine watches, now introduces the tantalising Kayanite in its Weekend collection. This new model encapsulates class with its stone dial while maintaining a somewhat subtle retro essence. This fresh model encapsulates the ongoing trend of hardstone dials, adding an aesthetic dash to the wrist.

Beyond the vaudeville of spinning rotors, the Weekend collection offers traditional dress watches featuring a 39mm size and capturing a subtle retro vibe. The series is known to comprise rounded stainless-steel cases, slim profiles and comfortable 7-link steel bracelets. Its water-resistant properties, coupled with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal over the dial, display an all-encompassing assembly of aesthetics and functionality.

The Weekend Malachite features the Soprod automatic caliber P-321, which allows a power reserve of 42 hours. An openworked rotor mounted on ball bearings primarily delivers the energy for this model. Alongside the functional magnificence, the timepiece also comes with a steel bracelet and green leather strap, both interchangeable using the quick-release system, thereby allowing a seamless transition from casual to formal wear. Carrying an air of finesse, the Weekend Malachite is available at authorised Perrelet retailers worldwide and also on the brand’s e-commerce platform, at a retail price of CHF / EUR 1,590.
