Introducing the Light Blue Tutima Patria Titanium: Embodiment of Saxon Watchmaking Traditions and Modern Aesthetics

Published: 27 Feb 2026
Renowned for its robust watches, Tutima breaks new ground with the latest addition to its Patria line, showcasing a light blue dial and a sleek titanium case.

Tutima, a name often associated with robust pilot’s chronographs, has been refining its classical collection over the past decade. The Patria line, a brainchild of this shift towards classical elegance, was introduced in the early 2010s. Reflecting the brand’s return to its roots in Glashütte, the Patria collection embodies sophisticated case designs, minimalist dials and meticulously-crafted hand-wound movements ingrained deeply in Saxon tradition. The timepieces within this collection become instant classics, boasting of artistry in steel, gold, and titanium elements combined with cold-enamelled and textured dials.

The light blue dial embodies both charm and finesse, using three-dimensional decor to create dynamic play with light. This aspect adds a sense of intrigue as the watch surface oscillates from soft pastel tones to sharper reflections. Complementing this aesthetic is the diamond-cut indices and hands layered with Super-LumiNova, enhancing readability. A small recessed indicator at 6 o’clock showcases a grooved texture, embodying another exquisite detail that pays homage to Tutima’s historical logo and reflects its rich lineage in Glashütte.

Through the sapphire crystal on the back, one can admire the hand-wound Tutima 617 manufacture calibre, a cornerstone of the Patria collection. Developed and assembled in Glashütte, the calibre reverberates with classical Saxon design. It includes a three-quarter plate decorated with Glashütte ribbing, hand-bevelled edges, and screwed gold chatons. Above all, the free-sprung balance with a manually bent Breguet overcoil rests on the open-worked balance cock. With 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement offers a generous power reserve of at least 65 hours.

Paired with a graphite-grey sheepskin leather strap, hand-stitched and fitted with a titanium pin buckle, the light blue Tutima Patria sits comfortably on the wrist. With its fusion of Saxon watchmaking and tactile aesthetics, it is priced at EUR 8,600, marking a must-have for watch enthusiasts.
