Breitling Celebrates Aston Martin's F1 Partnership With Limited Edition Navitimer Chronograph

Breitling, a prestigious Swiss watchmaker, is making waves in the timekeeping realm by launching an exclusive version of their iconic Navitimer chronograph. This special release celebrates their new partnership with luxury car manufacturer, Aston Martin, and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team. Limited to just 1959 pieces, this release pays homage to the year Aston Martin first entered the Formula 1 series.

While staying true to the Navitimer’s renowned aviation-oriented design cues, this edition introduces noteworthy alterations inclined towards motor racing. Typically known as an aviation watch due to its origin, the Navitimer integrates a chronograph and a slide rule bezel, which has traditionally made it an instrumental tool for pilots since its inception in 1952. However, this Aston Martin Navitimer highlights its capabilities as a trackside and behind-the-wheel companion.

The Aston Martin influence is subtle yet significant. Underneath the cambered sapphire glass, one finds a carbon black dial speckled with Aston Martin’s signature racing green. The chronograph counter seconds hand stands out with a neon greenish-yellow hue that aligns with the F1 team’s accent colors, a detail mirrored in the strap’s stitching. Most of the ‘Aston Martinization’, however, finds itself at the caseback, making the automobile association a refined surprise for its wearer.
