Audemars Piguet's Surprise Release: The 'Neo Frame' Collection Featuring the Daring Neo Frame Jumping Hour

Published: 03 Feb 2026
Respected watch manufacturer, Audemars Piguet, has announced the launch of an elegantly innovative collection, the 'Neo Frame', including the exquisite Neo Frame Jumping Hour model.

In a surprising development in the world of horology, respected watch manufacturer, Audemars Piguet, has unveiled an entirely fresh yet complicated wristwatch that celebrates the brand’s rich history. Breaking away from recent product lines, the firm has introduced a series labelled as the ‘Neo Frame’, an ambitious collection inspired by its 1920s predecessor. The standout piece from this collection is the Neo Frame Jumping Hour, marking a bold departure from the past and heralding an exciting new direction for the future of the brand. The Neo Frame Jumping Hour, encased in 18k pink gold, is shaped by the Streamline movement that inspired some of the brand’s signature pieces from the ’20s and ’30s. It boasts a sleek design, featuring a 34.6mm case from top to bottom, shaped around a round 29.6mm by 4mm movement, and flaunts an automatic jumping hour with a power reserve of 52 hours, all of which places it as a novel model in the watch market. Bucking the modern trend, the Neo Frame Jumping Hour embraces a rectangular aesthetic, a style homage to its predecessors. The company manufactured many rectangular watches between the 1920s and 1950s, which heavily influenced the construction of the new range. The distinct feature of ribbed lines trailing from the top to the bottom of the watch’s brancards or gadroons highlights the brand’s deeply-rooted history. The case construction offers a balance between elegance and performance, providing 20m of water resistance, a tough feat to achieve with the existing design. Clearly, Audemars Piguet has successfully combined vintage aesthetics with modern engineering, producing a beautiful timepiece that could become a beloved cornerstone of the luxury watch market.
