Norqain Partners with NHL to Release the Adventurous and Sleek 41mm Chrono Watch

Partnering with the National Hockey League, Swiss brand Norqain steps on to the ice to introduce a timepiece that blends luxury and sportsmanship in a riveting chronograph – the Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition. Mark Streit, former NHL All-Star, Stanley Cup winner and one of Norqain’s co-founders, underscores Norqain’s natural inclination towards ice hockey, a sport that has shaped the brand’s identity since its inception. In an unprecedented move, the Swiss watchmaker has now become the first Official Luxury Watch partner of the NHL, holding international licensing rights across the United States, Canada, and Europe. This trailblazing partnership has birthed the Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL, perhaps the first of many hockey-inspired timepieces to come. The watch hinting at team-specific editions that could follow, keeping the spirit of the sport at its core.

The Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL is powered by the Norqain calibre N17, a mechanical automatic chronograph movement courtesy of Sellita (SW500). It boasts a nifty power reserve of 62 hours. Its specially personalised Norqain rotor is visible through the watch’s sapphire caseback. Adding a detail that traces history, the crystal bears the inscription “Limited Edition – One of 1917”, a reference to the year the NHL was founded. This part-hockey—part-luxury timepiece is delivered on a black rubber strap incorporating material from an actual hockey puck or alternatively a stainless steel bracelet. Limited to just 1,917 pieces, the Adventure Chrono 41mm NHL Limited Edition will tick away on the wrists of a fortunate few, and is available through Norqain boutiques, authorised retailers, and the brand’s online platform.
