Zenith Defy Skyline Expands its Modish Collection with a Tourbillon Skeleton in Rose Gold

Published: 21 Jan 2026
Zenith's Defy Skyline lineup, post its 2022 advent, has constantly broadened its specter of luxury with new models and mechanics.

Reinforcing Zenith’s relentless pursuit for innovation, the impressive Zenith Defy Skyline lineup has broadened its horizon by releasing a 50-piece limited edition tourbillon skeleton, made of exquisite rose gold. This latest release, presented at the LVMH Watch Week 2026, takes the Skyline series to new heights with an open-worked representation of Zenith’s tourbillon-equipped El Primero movement.

Zenith’s dalliances with tourbillons are a known fact, marking several of their meticulously designed watches. However, the Defy Skyline Tourbillon Skeleton is the first of its kind in the Skyline series that couples an open-worked display with a tourbillon - a desirable combination for collectors having a deep appreciation for mechanical intricacies.

Zenith’s Defy Skyline Tourbillon Skeleton places visual emphasis on its open-worked movement, which means that the dial is essentially a flange housing the hour markers and minute track. A touch of metallic blue makes the flange compatible with the movement plates. The brand’s star logo adds an accent to the movement’s mainplate.

Rich in elegance and easy to read despite the skeletonization, the Defy Skyline Tourbillon Skeleton distinctly stands tall amongst its solid-dial siblings. This owes to its large hour markers, contrasting colors, and rose-gold hands that work in collaboration with the dark blue PVD finish on its movement. The Zenith Defy Skyline Tourbillon Skeleton is a testament to Zenith’s supreme craftsmanship and innovative spirit.
