Luxury Fashion House Louis Vuitton Unveils Updated Escale Worldtime and a Novel Dual Time Watch

Published: 20 Jan 2026
Louis Vuitton breathes new life into its Escale Worldtime and introduces a new dual time complication, marking a return to complex timepiece designs.

A renowned luxury entity, Louis Vuitton brings back the Worldtime function on the iconic Escale timepiece. First witnessed in 2014, recent years saw the brand veer towards simplifying its line with time-only offerings. The phase emphasized the expertise and artistry at La Fabrique du Temps atelier near Geneva.

Just launched at the 2026 LVMH Watch Week in Milan, the Escale line, synonymous with travel and time zones–true to its French counterpart meaning ‘stopover’–is set to become multifaceted once more. Four new models embedded with in-house movements promise meticulous and real-time accuracy, a must-have for globe trotters.

Taking horology a notch higher is the Escale Worldtime Flying Tourbillon. It boasts a star-shaped flower monogram display tourbillon at the dial’s center, surrounded by a grande feu enamel city and flag motifs. Housed in a shared space are the new in-house caliber, the LFT VO 05.01, the rotating city disc, and the tourbillon. Both newly introduced Worldtime movements have an impressive 62-hour power reserve capacity.

Defined by the platinum case, individualistic lugs, signed crown, and 50 meters water resistance, both models introduce a fresh perspective on elegant timekeeping. The Escale Worldtime and the Escale Worldtime Flying Tourbillon are valued at $94,500 and $239,000 respectively.

Alongside the updated Worldtime, Louis Vuitton introduces the newly minted Escale Twin Zone. This unique take on the classic dual time maintains the trademark savoir-faire and métiers d’art, offering a practical twist to contemporary timekeeping.
