Featuring a unique tide-tracking function and unmatched stylish elegance, TAG Heuer's newly unveiled Carrera Seafarer is a revival of a beloved classic.

Tag Heuer has unveiled a revitalized version of the brand’s much-loved Seafarer model at LVMH Watch Week 2026. The Seafarer, renowned for its distinct colourways and unique tide-tracking functionality, was originally produced from the 1950s to the 1970s and is a sought-after piece among vintage collectors. This latest revival is a nod to TAG Heuer’s maritime history and is an exciting addition to the Swiss brand’s core collection lineup.

Unlike the Carrera Skipper, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Seafarer (ref. CBS2016.EB0430) offers more than just a maritime colourway. It features a tide indicator complication controllable via an additional button on the case side, allowing accurate tracking and prediction of tides.

The Seafarer’s stainless steel case measures 42mm in diameter and 14.4mm thick, prominent yet stylish. A signed crown flanked by a set of pump-style pushers at the 3 o’clock side adds to its distinct allure. The watch is waterproof up to a depth of 100 meters, making it a practical and dependable choice without compromising on style.

The updated dial on the TAG Heuer Carrera Seafarer retains the charm of vintage models while offering an elevated and luxurious contemporary feel. The teal and beige accents create a balance of elegance and sportiness, while gold-plated indexes and an intricate chapter ring add a touch of sophistication. The reinterpretation of vintage elements in the Carrera Seafarer does not merely signify a return to the sources; it is a step forward in the evolution of the brand’s innovative and timeless design philosophy.
