With the Swiss Army Air Pro Automatic, Victorinox introduces a new generation in pilot-style mechanical timepieces.

Eagerly anticipated by watch enthusiasts and fans of Victorinox’s craftsmanship, the new reference 242006 Swiss Army Air Pro Automatic marks the Swiss brand’s innovative stride into a new era in pilot-style wristwatches. Leaving behind previous names like ‘Air Boss’, this mechanical timepiece stands out with its eloquently simplified moniker.

The Air Pro Automatic comes in four distinctive versions. Each one sporting an enduring stainless steel case, and a uniform dial design, with varying case finishing styles. Notably, one variant comes with a new matching steel bracelet, while another steals the spotlight with a stunningly designed red rubber strap.

The four-hand Swiss Made Sellita SW330-2 automatic movement is a sight to marvel at, visible through the case-back window. With an operating frequency of 4Hz and an impressive 56 hours power reserve, the Air Pro Automatic outshines its contemporaries.

One of the timepiece’s unique features is the internal rotating bezel encompassing numerous scales including reference cities. By cleverly using the GMT hand together with the rotating inner 24-hour bezel, the watch has the ability to display the time across three zones whilst calculating time differences globally. Despite the multiple scales and markers on the dial, the legibility of the Air Pro Automatic remains praiseworthy.

The Victorinox Air Pro Automatic also flaunts a distinct military-style pilot design amongst the popular GMT-style watches. With a captivating simplicity balanced within the classic design elements, this attractive and modest watch fits Victorinox’s market needs indomitably. Enclosed within 43mm wide steel cases, the watch is beautifully crafted, reflecting the brand’s tradition of in-house manufacture.
