Credor, the high-end division of the Seiko Group, unveils the newest addition to the ultra-thin Goldfeather collection. The model is graced by an elegant Imari Nabeshima porcelain dial, a reflection of Japan's revered artistic craftsmanship.

The well-acclaimed, high-end division of the Seiko Group, Credor, makes a resounding statement with the release of their newest timepiece, an elegant revamp in the time-honoured Goldfeather collection. Since its establishment in 1974, Credor has been reputed to emphasize the passion for refined artistic techniques and ultra-thin designs in watchmaking. Originally catering to the domestic market in Japan, the brand has recently been expanding its frontiers, winning the hearts of watch enthusiasts worldwide.

Featuring an incredibly slim design, the latest addition to the Goldfeather collection presents an exquisitely designed Imari Nabeshima porcelain dial, an embodiment of one of Japan’s important intangible cultural properties. This timepiece is the outcome of Credor’s unwavering pursuit of creating increasingly thinner mechanical movements, a pursuit that commenced with the creation of the first Goldfeather model in 1960.

Veering away from the standard precious metal cases of the Goldfeather models, the new GCBY991 is made entirely of stainless steel, rated for 30m water-resistance. Its slim and sophisticated silhouette is ensured by the manual-winding calibre 6890, having a meagre height of 1.98mm. The tantalising dial and its handcrafted artistic mastery is protected by a box-shaped sapphire crystal, further enhancing the sophisticated allure of the timepiece.
