Luminox Explores New Depths with Carbonox Bracelet in Navy SEAL 3500 Series

Luminox introduces a game-changing lightweight version of its iconic Navy SEAL 3500 Series with a Carbonox bracelet, giving the modern timepiece a new high-wear edge.

Luminox, known for its high-grade timepieces, extends its horizons with the exciting release of a distinct variant of the Navy SEAL 3500 Series featuring a matching Carbonox bracelet. This latest addition is a testament to Luminox’s commitment to creating functional yet innovative wristwatches.

The 3500 Series embodies Luminox’s iconic design, dating back to the original 3100 model, which was famously developed for the U.S. Navy SEALs in 1992. The 3500 Series perfectly encapsulates the essence of the brand, and is often the first that comes to mind when one mentions Luminox. The major distinguishing factor for the Navy SEAL 3500 Series (ref. XS.3510), apart from its black and tan color scheme, is that its case, bezel, and bracelet are all crafted from the innovative Carbonox material.

Carbonox distinguishes itself from popular carbon-based materials with its carbon-powder base, resulting in the absence of the ‘marbled’ effect generally associated with carbon composites. However, it retains the practicality and durability associated with this popular watchmaking material. There are two versions of Carbonox currently used by Luminox, the basic variant, and the high-performance Carbonox+ form, reserved for premium models like the Master Carbon SEAL 3802 and the 3350 Series MIL-SPEC.

The Carbonox case of the Navy SEAL 3500 Series measures 45mm in diameter by 14mm thick. Known for favoring large lug widths in their designs for balance with the bold cases, the 3500 Series features stocky lugs that are 24mm apart, contributing to an overall lug-to-lug profile of 51.5mm. Luminox’s latest offering manifests a successful fusion of functional innovation and powerful aesthetics, adding a unique edge to the iconic Navy SEAL 3500 Series.
