Innovative Vintage Vibes: Albishorn Introduces a New Dial Variant for the Type 10 'Officer' Timepiece

Published: 05 Jan 2026
Exploring design horizons with a fresh chronograph model, Albishorn has introduced a new manually-wound 'Officer' dial variant for their iconic Type 10 line.

Around the close of 2025, Albishorn released a new dial variant for their manually-wound ‘Officer’ from the Type 10 chronograph series. The beige dial, highlighted with black Super-LumiNova accents and a complementary bronze crown, reflects the design narrative the brand is renowned for. This fresh design introduces an evolutionary step from the esteemed Type 20.

The watch possesses a stainless steel case mixing brushed surfaces with polished chamfers. The case measures an impressive 39mm, while a rotating, tension-fit bezel expands its dimensions to 41.7mm. A sizeable red pusher is situated at 9:30, with the crown located at 10 o’clock. This, in conjunction with the proprietary ALB02 M movement, based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture, situates the subdials in the dial’s lower region. The slim 12mm case is a result of the manual-winding architecture.

The watch’s technical details resonate with Albishorn’s usual precision and aesthetic appeal. The Type 10 ‘Officer’ is housed in a 316 L stainless steel case featuring both polished and satin-finished surfaces, with chamfered and polished edges. The cream textured dial adorned with black Super-LumiNova figures, and beige Super-LumiNova lume, contributes a vintage yet sophisticated ambiance. It boasts a water resistance of 100m, ensuring sturdiness and durability. The timepiece is offered with either a black or beige leather strap, equipped with an Albishorn buckle.
