Transforming Luxury Watches: Mido Unveils New Multifort 8 Two Crowns in Sublime Rose Gold PVD and Black

Published: 22 Dec 2025
The world of luxury watches received a spectacular addition as Mido expands its Multifort series with a captivating rose gold PVD model.

With the unveiling of the Multifort 8 Two Crowns earlier this year, Mido proved its mettle in the competitive integrated sports watches arena. The watch, characteristic of its compact and slim design and attention to detail, took the market by storm. Once again, the brand has left an impression with its newly released Multifort 8 Two Crowns Rose Gold PVD. This model is a stunning combination of black and warm metallic, beautifully emphasizing the structural design of the watch.

The Multifort series has always been privileged with an influential history, going back to 1934 when Mido made the exceptional move of combining automatic winding with water resistance and anti-magnetism. The Multifort 8 Two Crowns Rose Gold PVD upholds the same values of technical efficiency moulded into a modern form fact.

The matte black dial continues the signature style of the series with horizontal grooves and features inset indexes. Faceted rose gold-toned hands coated with white Super-LumiNova add to the aesthetic appeal. The watch provides practical functionality with a framed date window at 3 o’clock and a rotating inner bezel.

Mido’s Calibre 72, an automatic movement derived from the ETA A31.111, powers the watch. This movement renders the watch resistant to shocks, temperature shifts, and magnetism with its Nivachron balance spring. The movement springs to life seen through the sapphire caseback.

The watch fits snugly on a black rubber strap, styled to echo the dial’s linear pattern. It is equipped with a rose gold PVD pin buckle and features quick-release bars for simple adjustments. Already available for purchase, the Multifort 8 Two Crowns Rose Gold PVD carries a price tag of CHF 1,150 or EUR 1,220.
