Published: 18 Dec 2025
The fascinating world of space tourism has inspired Fortis to create a fresh collection of Stratoliner S-41 Chronographs, proving that watchmaking transcends earthly boundaries.

Challenging the realms of space and time, Fortis has launched its new Stratoliner S-41 Chronograph models. These space-inspired timepieces assert Fortis’ robust engineering skills, rooming an appetite for cosmic adventure and style within the watch connoisseurs. Undertaking the daring adventure of space-tested timepieces, Fortis had exhilarated to test its Werk 17 movement in the stratosphere even before the movement was arrayed in its Stratoliner collection. The company further catapulted 13 Stratoliner models into the suborbital space in 2022, exposing the timepieces to gruelling conditions piercingly teaching the gravity of space.

The Stratoliner series offers diverse colour schemes and dial textures that leaven a split personality feel that might take time for one to acclimate to. With a blue or gold highlighted area in the two chronograph counters matching a section of the minutes track, all these features flaunt a lustrous blue or green Super-LumiNova treatment. Adding to the charm, the day-and-date aperture is strategically positioned at 3 o’clock. The Stratonliner Reentry Edition illuminates the dial with a mesmerising display of copper and metallic violet colours, accompanied with a steel Block bracelet. The Gravity Black edition offers a contrasting appeal with its dark DLC-coated case.

Pushing the boundaries of horology, this sparkling addition to the Stratoliner collection catapults Fortis into the stratosphere of interstellar watchmaking.
