Rediscovering Elegance: A Closer Look at the Lebois & Co. Heritage Chronograph Linéaire

Published: 15 Dec 2025
Lebois & Co. continues to breathe new life into vintage designs, unveiling its latest masterpiece, the Heritage Chronograph Linéaire.

Established in 1934, Lebois & Co. rose to fame during the golden age of mechanical watchmaking, famed for its precise and elegant chronographs. After lying dormant for some time, the brand was resurrected in 2016 by Tom van Wijlick, with the ambition of honoring the brand’s rich heritage through impeccably designed timepieces inspired by its own past collections.

Among the brand’s notable collections is the Heritage Chronograph series, unveiled in 2023. Each reference within this collection has been a captivating tribute to history, with popular models such as the black-and-gold version and the recent Heritage Chronograph Atelier ‘Coquille d’œuf’ with its Grand feu enamel dial. Not content to rest on past laurels, Lebois & Co. has more surprises in store for watch enthusiasts.

For the dial, the Linéaire leverages inspiration from a 1950s rediscovered Lebois chronograph. The dial is designed in champagne-silver or rich blue, and features a subtle vertical brushing. Gold-toned Arabic numerals rise gently above the dial, while blued syringe hands contrast against the background for better legibility. In a sweet nod to the past, the dial incorporates a tachymeter scale, running seconds, and a 30-minute counter with three-minute divisions, reminiscent of the time when such a feature was helpful in timing long distance phone calls.

The watch houses the hand-wound calibre LC-450, a column-wheel chronograph movement by La Joux-Perret. This manual winding mechanism offers a tangible connection to traditional watchmaking. Lebois & Co. Heritage Chronograph Linéaire starts at EUR 3,300, with early access registration starting December 15, 2025, and deliveries expected by Spring 2026.
