Serica Awakens Nostalgia with the Return of the Tuxedo Dial in Its New Ref. 6190 TXD Model

Published: 11 Dec 2025
In a triumphant return, Parisian watch creator, Serica, unfurls its latest creation, the Ref. 6190 TXD, featuring a revival of the prestigious Tuxedo dial.

Since its establishment in 2019, Serica has attracted an enthusiastic clientele with its stylish rendition of tool watches, painstakingly designed by Parisian creators Jérôme Burgert and Gabriel Vachette. Housing a distinct air of French refinement, the brand’s collection expertly melds elements of military design and fine craftsmanship. Counting the 5303 Diver series, 8315 GMT Traveller, the fresh Parade 1174 and the 6190 Field Chronometer in its expansive repertoire, each creation showcases a perfect balance of purpose-built functionality, COSC-certified accuracy and proportions that marry vintage and modern aesthetics harmoniously.

The Serica Ref. 6190 TXD is an embodiment of durable luxury, crafted from 316L stainless steel and sporting the same compact and ergonomic dimensions as the other models in the 6190 line. Despite its dressy appearance, the robust build of the watch is evident in its water resistance of up to 200 metres and double-domed sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating. Its beautifully crafted dial, designed in the form of an enamel-simulated Tuxedo, presents a fascinating interplay of glossy black, silver-toned sectors and a softer hue. Paired with hand-applied hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova C3 and brushed hands, this exquisite timepiece conveys equal measures of field utility and formal refinement.
