A Fusion of Aviation and Horology: Raketa Su Limited Edition Inspired by Su-57 Jet Fighter

In an astounding collaboration, the Raketa Watch Factory and Sukhoi Design Bureau have pulled back the curtain on a new limited-edition, professional pilot’s watch. The timepiece draws burgeoning inspiration from the Su-57, a state-of-the-art 5th-generation fighter jet.

The Raketa Su Limited Edition watch displays a polished stainless steel case measuring 42 mm x 13.65 mm and lug-to-lug distance of 49.13 mm. The case receives a subtle matte black PVD treatment, resembling the specially designed coating that makes the Su-57 stealthy and nearly invisible to radar systems. A silhouette of the jet is aptly embossed at 6 o’clock on the dial.

The timepiece houses a 24-jewel, automatic caliber 2615 movement, crafted entirely at Raketa’s manufacturing facility in St. Petersburg. The movement operates at 2.5 Hz and offers bi-directional winding along with a 40-hour power reserve. Each unit goes through rigorous testing in 4 different positions to ensure optimal performance. Magnifying the timepiece’s allure is a silicon strap that blends comfort and ergonomics, along with a bonus black leather strap.

The complete package of Raketa Su includes a 1:100 scale model of the Su-57 fighter and an extra leather strap. The limited-edition timepiece, with a water resistance of 200 meters, is released in 800 pieces, each priced at €2900 ($3375), with complimentary worldwide delivery through DHL.
