IFL Watches Releases Bulova Super Seville Starry Night: A Dazzling, Hand-painted Ode to the Art of Van Gogh

Published: 01 Dec 2025
IFL Watches has introduced a bold yet affordable piece of wrist art, the Bulova Super Seville Starry Night, which pays tribute to the oeuvre of the legendary artist Vincent Van Gogh.

Presenting its latest limited-edition hand-painted watch, IFL Watches has maintained the tradition of crafting unique and artistic aftermarket products. This time, the base of their innovation is the modern and versatile Bulova Super Seville wristwatch. However, unlike traditional watchmakers, IFL Watches thrives on ingenious customisation, often repainting the dial to transform an ordinary watch into a stylish statement piece. What sets IFL Watches apart is the alignment of high-quality design with affordability. Considering the generally high prices of aftermarket and customised watches, IFL Watches aims to offer striking and appealing watches without the exorbitant price tag.

Paying homage to Rolex, the Seville model was defined by the TV-shaped case and bracelet style. Bulova has revived the Seville, now referred to as the Super Seville, with the brand’s specialty - the Precisionist movement. The Precisionist quartz movements are notably accurate and even feature a non-standard sweeping rather than a ticking second hand. The technology is far superior to ordinary quartz watches, thanks to its heightened operational frequency that guarantees 10 seconds of accuracy per year.

This precision is driven by a proprietary system featuring a three-prong quartz crystal oscillator, and a powerful battery that runs it all non-stop for several years. The watch displays the time and date window under a magnifier. Despite the modest size of just 37.5mm, the Super Seville’s wide lug structure gives it a bold and striking appearance on the wrist, embodying the intersection of visual art and watchmaking flawlessly.
