Discover the All-New Oris ProPilot Date: A Contemporary Revamp of the Swiss Aviation Mainstay Bearing An Accessible Price Tag

Published: 19 Nov 2025
Oris ProPilot, a firm favourite since 2014, receives major upgrades with the new ProPilot Date, reflecting elevated aesthetic appeal and functionality, while retaining the brand's core accessible pricing philosophy.

The Oris ProPilot series, an integral part of the Swiss manufacturer’s repertoire since 2014, has introduced its new ProPilot Date with exciting additions. The modern reimagination of the original Oris Big Crown Pointer Date of 1938, the ProPilot Date showcases textured dials reminiscent of the vintage camera body — a striking similarity to the Patek 5226. Presented in black, white (dubbed ‘chalk) or green (‘moss’), these dials infuse a new depth into the watch’s highly readable layout, featuring reinvigorated dial rings and accented dual hour markers at 12 o’clock.

Significant changes adorn the 41 millimeter case, now sharper and more polished, complete with satin finishes and enhanced water resistance of up to 100 meters. A new notched bezel, inspired by modern jet engines, rounds off the watch’s aviation theme. The ProPilot Date also enjoys better crown knurling, continuing the theme on brushed case sides. Availability comes on a stainless steel bracelet with an adjustable ‘Lift’ clasp or a suede leather strap, reflecting each of the new dial shades.
