The recently unveiled Kallinich Claeys Einser Zentralsekunde Voyager Edition is making significant waves in Glashütte watchmaking. Johannes Kallinich and Thibault Claeys, alumni watchmakers of A. Lange & Soehne, have carved out a distinct niche in contemporary timekeeping with their company’s eye-catching models. This latest release brings an evolution of the house style, developed in partnership with Lee Yuen-Rapati, best known as the artist behind @onehourwatch.

The Voyager Edition stands out by incorporating a star-field motif, inspired by Dresden’s rich astronomical history, at its centre. The frosted background of the design creates a mesmerizing play of reflections while adding to the brand’s signature aesthetic of refined elegance with a modern twist.

The Voyager Edition is powered by the manual calibre KC001.1, which runs at a calm 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers a 45-hour power reserve. Even the internal workings of the watch showcase their inventive approach, with the differential driving the linear power reserve visible both at the rear and through the lateral window, tying the architecture of the case directly to its mechanics.
