Excitement amplified with the revelation of TAG Heuer’s new in-house operating system gracing the E5 series. Adding flavor to the tech delicacy was a partnership stroke with American apparel giant, New Balance, to spin off a runners’ version of the Calibre E5, accompanied by a matching set of racing shoes.

This fitness-geared variant, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 New Balance Edition, is part of an elite lineup, which includes a golf-themed version, resonating with the luxury smartwatch theme but also serves a niche audience with sports-specific designs.

The Connected Calibre E5 smartwatches stay modern with multifunctional sensors on their casebacks. In the New Balance version, a thin green line signals the location of the GPS antenna. Water-resistant up to 50m, this model is perfect for swimmers. With its new quick-release system, changing straps is effortless.

The watch comes with two straps. One features a wrap-around fabric with a velcro fastening for practicality, while the other, a two-piece rubber strap, houses high-tech fabric from New Balance racing shoes.
