Swedish Microbrand Atelier Nossedh Introduces its Debut Timepiece: The Classically Proportioned, Vintage-Inspired AN.01 Series

Swedish microbrand Atelier Nossedh hits the horology market with its debut timepiece, the vintage-inspired AN.01 series, brilliantly embodying mid-century aesthetics.

Swedish watchmaker Atelier Nossedh is basking in the spotlight with the introduction of its debut timepiece, the AN.01 series. Created by designer Alexander Gimell, Atelier Nossedh, which translates to ‘passing time’ in the Sámi language, has carved its niche with a small, classically proportioned watch designed with a touch of vintage allure.

The AN.01 offers a direct nod to mid-century design, modernised with meticulous and deliberate care. Its distinct character is reminiscent of vintage Patek models, although it manages to carve out a unique identity without merely mimicking its influences. This bodes well for the brand, which places great emphasis on balance and tactility.

The dial maintains the strong classic mid-century chronograph influence while offering unique touches. A timeless bi-compax layout with minimal text ensures an open, balanced appearance. It comes with six color options each providing a distinct character.

Powered by the Sellita SW510 M élaboré-grade movement, the timepiece operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour, offering a 63-hours power reserve. This manual-wind calibre, tucked away behind a solid steel caseback, makes every wind a moment of connection with the mechanics of time measurement. The overall masterpiece crafted by Atelier Nossedh is a throwback to vintage charm without compromising on contemporary aesthetics and functionality.
