The Aesthetic Wonder of Elka Watch Co.'s Swiss Craftsmanship: the S Series Monochrome Editions
In an ode to black and white aesthetics, Elka Watch Co., a Swiss brand renowned for injecting soulful 1960s-inspired designs into the modern era, has unveiled its latest collection - the S Series Monochrome Editions. Collaborating with the renowned Swiss black-and-white imagery master, Christian Coigny, Elka Watch Co. has effortlessly fused stylish watchmaking with striking photography.
Titled “Noir et Blanc”, this unique collection is much more than just timekeeping devices. It is an earnest celebration of black and white - of monochromatic aesthetics that beautifully embody the balance of light and shadow, form and texture. The series is concurrently an exhibition set to run from November 4th to December 10th, 2025 at Espace Diorama in Geneva, featuring an exhilarating blend of Coigny’s analog artistry and Elka’s mechanical prowess.
Each watch, available in 40.8mm or 36mm cases, is topped with a domed sapphire crystal. Underneath this lies the essence of the watch - a La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement with a 68-hour reserve - while staying true to Elka’s vintage cues. Only 100 pieces per model will be available for exclusive pre-sale at Espace Diorama during the exhibition, with deliveries expected for mid-December. The price per watch is set at CHF 1,855, Swiss taxes included.
The S Series Monochrome Editions is a testament to Elka Watch Co.’s dedication to exquisite Swiss craftsmanship and refined aesthetics, offering watch aficionados a true feast for the eyes.
