Commonly seen as a feminine variant of the classic Moonwatch, the Speedmaster 38mm indeed is a discreet member of the collection. Despite its prevailing feminine iterations, the Speedmaster 38mm was once offered as a compact, automatic version for men, endearingly termed as ‘Speedmaster Reduced’.

The latest Speedmaster 38mm Milano Cortina 2026, however, revitalises the concept of Speedmaster Reduced through its contemporary updates. It retains the 38mm diameter, the traditional asymmetrical case with lyre-shaped lugs, and a more robust caseband on the right side, framing the crown and the pushers. This time, featuring an entirely polished steel case, the new Speedmaster 38mm Milano Cortina 2026 embodies the classic Speedmaster, only smaller, shorter, but not thinner due to its automatic movement.

The watch also ensures a water resistance of 100m, upholding a sufficient lead against the 50m water resistance of a Professional Moonwatch. The novel change in finishing adds novelty to the model, coupled with the stamped medallion depicting the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic logo, elegantly carved on the solid steel caseback.
