Established in 1893, Union Glashütte is a stalwart in the world of watchmaking. Known for their daring and unique style, the German brand’s Belisar series has made waves in the industry with its automotive-inspired editions. This year, however, the brand has taken a bold leap from its traditional influences with the Belisar Chronograph Speedster Limited Edition 2025, which takes design cues directly from an Italian rally car of the 1980s - the elusive Lancia Delta Integrale. This creates a striking chronograph that sports a vibrant blend of blue-grey and yellow - a piece that looks as though it’s raced right off the rally track.

Taking inspiration from the 1980s Lancia Delta Integrale’s cockpit, the watch has a matte blue-grey ground with vibrant yellow Arabic numerals and crosshair and a black tachymeter scale. Further emphasizing its sporty aesthetic, it swaps traditional hour numerals for 5-second intervals. The black PVD hands, laced with Super-LumiNova, heighten contrast, and yellow accents amplify legibility.

At the heart of the timepiece, we find Union’s UNG-27.S1 - an automatic chronograph calibre built on the Valjoux 7750 architecture. Incorporating a silicon balance spring, it ensures resistance to magnetism and temperature changes while boasting a hefty 65-hour power reserve and multifaceted functionality.

This striking design wraps up with a textured blue-grey rubber strap, with an additional black calfskin strap with yellow accents included in the package, for those occasions that call for something a bit more refined.
