The Hermès H08 Chronograph Collection Unveils a Strikingly Vibrant Naples Yellow Edition
Ever since La Montre Hermès formalised its manufacture capabilities, it has developed an enviable typography that’s distinctively Hermès. The H08 collection introduced in 2021 transformed this ethos into an everyday sports watch, boasting a design that combined character with utility. With its cushion case, graphic numerals, and a unique blend of a carbon-graphene composite and titanium, the H08 exudes a contemporary aesthetic that is both effortless and distinctive.
The H08 Chronograph, with its eye-catching monopusher, extends this design philosophy without disrupting the silhouette. The characteristic circle-within-a-square design, measuring 41mm, combines durability and comfort impeccably. The new Naples Yellow edition enhances the character of the H08 without altering the specifications. With brighter strap and dial accents that enhance the sporty vibe, the Hermès timepiece maintains its characteristic clean symmetry, refined textures, and the tangible Hermès charm.
An updated black-gold-treated, blackened dial features a balanced layout mirroring the H08 Chronograph series. It includes a circular main display, sub-registers which echo the case’s design, and rhodium-plated applied Arabic numerals in bespoke font. The dial also features Super-LumiNova on hands and numerals, which ensures easy reading in the dark. The Naples Yellow accents bring a fresh and energising vibe to the watch.
The Hermès H08 Chronograph Naples Yellow Edition is powered by the automatic Hermès H1837, with a chronograph module that operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and offers a 46-hour power reserve. It comes with a yellow rubber strap and a satin-finished black DLC titanium folding clasp. Now part of the permanent collection, it is priced at EUR 12,000, mirroring the pricing of the orange edition.
