Discover the New Silva Rose and Pistachio Watches from Hanhart: A Nod to the Past with a Modern Twist
Hanhart, noted for its Black Forest birth and prominent records like the 417 ES and Pioneer series, presents a surprising addition to its portfolio. Known for clarity and everyday utility, Hanhart has quietly threaded its wristwatch legacy into time-only modern models with the launch of the Silva series. A standout show of balance, readability, and intentional unisex design, the Silva series counters its more tool-heavy counterparts with a minimalist take for daily wear.
High-contrast hands, hour indices and numerals, and bold dot markers for odd hours grace the pastel pink ‘Rosé’ and pistachio green variant dials. Legacy lives on with the historic Hanhart logo – a salute to the 1930s pieces for an easy-to-read layout. These newcomers stand as a minimalist counterpart to Hanhart’s chronographs, providing a neat dress-casual look.
The Silva models rely on the Soprod P024 (Top grade), an automatic three-hand movement (clone of the ETA 2824) with no date, operating at 28,800 vibrations/hour and a minimum 38-hour reserve. Hanhart’s in-house spec ranges from 0 to +8 s/day across six positions. No minus is allowed in main positions, and the max positional delta is 10 seconds.
Hanhart’s Silva collection, furnished on a black or dark-brown calfskin (Alcantara-lined) with a pin buckle, or a Milanese steel bracelet with a folding clasp, are now available at EUR 990 (incl. VAT), through Hanhart and select retailers. This launch promises much more than a new look - it blends heritage with fresh, contemporary aesthetics in the world of horology.
