Chopard Showcases L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Variations with Unique Straw Marquetry Dials
Since its inception in 2021 to mark Chopard’s 25th anniversary, the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 has seen exciting transformations. The luxury watchmaker has now unveiled two ultra-limited editions of this model in 18-carat ethical yellow gold or white gold, differentiated by their artistic honeycomb straw marquetry dials.
The watches retain the elegant silhouette typical of the L.U.C collection, with impressive details lending it a sophisticated charm. Cast in fine 18-carat ethical yellow or white gold, the 40mm case features a satin-brushed mid-case and polished bezel and back. The knurled crown is substantial and easy to grip, and the timepiece boasts practical modern developments, including glare-proofed sapphire crystals front and back and 50m water resistance.
Timekeeping has been kept simple and easily visible, with a central Dauphine-style minute hand circling a jumping-hour window at 6 o’clock. The manual-winding L.U.C 98.06-L calibre employed here delivers an incredible eight-day (192-hour) power reserve. The finishes meet Poinçon de Genève standards, demonstrating the watchmaker’s exceptional attention to detail.
Each of the limited-edition timepieces comes with a hand-sewn alligator leather strap that complements the gold tones of the case. As these L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Straw Marquetry Editions demonstrate, Chopard continues to merge artistry and horological innovation, resulting in timepieces that are as beautiful as they are brilliant.
