Monta, the renowned microbrand, has launched its second generation Triumph model. Debuting in 2017, the Triumph placed Monta on the map with its modern take on the field watch design. Now, eight years later, the Triumph has received a subtle yet impressive facelift, captured beautifully in the Triumph V2.

Dominating the watch’s appeal is the robust 40mm stainless steel case, upscaled from its predecessor’s 38.5mm case. Although the case height is slightly taller, it retains a quiet elegance, standing at 10.7mm tall. Even with these increased dimensions, Monta has maintained the overall wearable proportions of the watch.

Launched with a single dial variant, the Triumph V2 showcases a sleek black Explorer-like dial. The dial houses applied hour markers and three, nine numerals, as well as a date window perfectly situated at 6 o’clock.

Monta announced that the first 100 pieces of the watch, available for pre-order now for January delivery, will retail at $1,550. The regular retail pricing of the Triumph V2 is slated to be $1,850 afterwards.
