De Bethune Unveils DB28xs Yellow Tones, A Gleaming Yellow Titanium Watch of Magnificent Proportions

Published: 14 Oct 2025
Swiss watchmaker De Bethune adds a blaze of golden glory to the art of horology with its newly launched DB28xs Yellow Tones, a titanium spectacle in dazzling yellow.

Hailing from L’Auberson, Switzerland, modern timepiece manufacturer De Bethune strikes gold with its release of the DB28xs Yellow Tones – a celebration of horological prowess and groundbreaking craftsmanship. This striking titanium timepiece stands out with its yellow tones, achieved not through genuine gold, but a sophisticated thermal-oxidation process exclusive to De Bethune.

Nestled in a compact DB28xs case, the swathes of yellow across the watch swathe the 38.7mmx8mm frame with the warmth of a thousand sunsets. The case, including the brand’s patented floating lugs, is carved from yellow-polished grade 5 titanium, as is the dial base and the hands. The dial is surrounded by a circular satin-finish titanium hours and minutes ring with polished yellow titanium hour markers. An intriguing balance bridge, constructed from yellow polished titanium, lies at the 6 o’ clock position.

Adding to its character, this watch features a ‘bullhead’ configuration – the crown is positioned at 12 o’clock, breaking the norm of a 3 o’clock placement. The watch’s back features a screw-in caseback with a sapphire window, ensuring water-resistant to 30 meters. The finishing touch - a luxurious brown alligator leather strap, paired with a buckle formed from yellow polished grade 5 titanium. At a retail price of $115,000, the DB28xs Yellow Tones from De Bethune is quite the golden ticket for high-end horology enthusiasts.
