Synonymous with the Future: the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extrem Sport Twins Time Shines with Dual-Time Feature and More

TAG Heuer unveils 2025's dual-time model, the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time–loaded with new features, and built on a cherished foundation

The TAG Heuer Carrera, synonymous with the brand since its launch in 1963, has expanded into an entire collection of diverse timepieces. In 2024, TAG Heuer introduced the modern and bold interpretation of their famous racing watch, the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport. Now announcing their plans for 2025, TAG Heuer is enhancing the series with a new dual-time model–the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time.

Launched alongside a solid rose gold model and a limited edition tourbillon-equipped masterpiece to celebrate Formula 1’s 75th anniversary, the Twin-Time sets itself apart with an additional GMT complication and a split-color bezel made from a single piece of ceramic. Unlike its 2018 predecessor (the Carrera Chronograph GMT), the Extreme Sport Twin-Time is crafted from grade 2 titanium. The contemporary “Extreme” series styling informs the 44mm diameter, and the 16.7mm thick case finishes with contrasting brushed and sandblasted surfaces.

The Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time sets a new standard for GMT functionality in the Carrera collection thanks to its sporty, understated teal color. The skeletonized dial offers a familiar aesthetic to Extreme Sport enthusiasts while accommodating a fourth 24-hour hand with an elongated red-finished tip. The overall aesthetic, compared to Hublot’s designs (both owned by LVMH), represents a striking departure from their vintage-inspired Carrera models.
