Hublot Unveils Superior Version of Square Bang with Intricate Tourbillon and Extended Power Reserve

Published: 03 Oct 2025
Breaking conventions, Swiss watchmaker Hublot introduces a higher-end version of the famed Square Bang watch.

Hublot has heightened the allure of its popular Square Bang watch line by launching a model outfitted with an advanced movement. The Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve 3D Carbon gets its ticking heart from the Hublot caliber HUB6023, a manually wound creation that rests distinctively in a square-shaped skeleton. The square character of the case and movement enhances the synchrony of these crucial components. Even though Hublot spotlights the square skeleton’s modern aesthetic and architectural features, the watch maintains its practicality through luminescent-handled hands and hour markers. Unlike its siblings that are powered by an automatic chronograph movement, the UNICO 2, this model is the only current Square Bang Tourbillon that operates on caliber HUB6023. Essentially, this places it amongst Hublot’s moderately complicated mechanisms. Notable features include a tourbillon mechanism and a convenient power reserve indicator. It operates at 3Hz, offering an impressive 96-hour power reserve value. The mechanism, despite its articulate skeletonization, maintains legibility. Besides its functional prowess, this watch version has swapped out the metallic case for a lighter but less water-resistant carbon material. However, the piping details and distinctive textures of the 3D carbon fiber aptly illustrate how beautifully Hublot has honed the carbon watch craftsmanship.
