Globally acclaimed watchmaker Tissot unveils an astounding new range in its Ballade COSC Powermatic Collection, with inspired updates aimed at both watch aficionados and lovers of fine design alike.

Steeped in a rich tradition of ushering in timeless classics, famed watchmaker Tissot relentlessly continues on its path of impeccable horological craftsmanship. The brand, respected for delivering fully-equipped, well-finished watches, recently introduced automatic versions to their popular ‘Ballade’ collection, all showcasing superior precision offered at an appealing price point. First launched in 1994 and revamped in 2024, the Ballade range shines anew for 2025.

The Tissot Ballade COSC collection received a significant upgrade in 2024 with textured dials, a sleeker appeal, and the return of the fluted bezel. Due to the latest enhancements, the Ballade collection has paved the way for mechanical progression, embracing automatic movements while preserving certified chronometric precision.

Adhering to theme consistency, the dials in Ballade COSC are textured, opting for a sunray embossed pattern aligning with the fluted bezel. The updated automatic versions are fitted with applied Roman numerals replacing the previous baton markers. Luminous materials punctuate the hour markers, and the date possesses a distinct metallic frame.

The 39mm model can be ordered in full steel with a silver, dark blue or dark green dial, and a fourth variant includes PVD yellow gold accents. The 30mm edition is available in full steel with an ice blue or silver dial and a third variation with a silver dial is complemented by PVD rose gold accents.

Under the hood, the Powermatic 80 (for the 39mm) or Powermatic 48 (for the 30mm) movements feature. These enhanced versions of the ETA 2824-2 and ETA 2671 run at a 3Hz frequency, an extended power reserve of 80h or 48h respectively, further fitted with a magnetic-resistant Nivachron hairspring.
