Berneron, hailing from the high-ended independent watchmakers, has become a beacon of pioneering design within the horology world. The brainchild of Sylvain Berneron, a designer who’s worked with reputable automotive manufacturers and posh watch brands, Berneron made a splash into the industry with a solid-gold dress watch—Mirage, celebrated for its unique asymmetric design.

Two years after this stunning debut, Berneron seizes the year 2025 with the release of their second masterpiece—the Berneron Quantième Annuel. This new offering comes equipped with a solid-gold annual calendar movement, encased delicately within a detailed platinum structure safeguarded by a stainless-steel exterior. Standing out from the Mirage’s unconventional aesthetic, the Quantième Annuel boasts a more traditional circular profile, albeit, it maintains a distinctive allure. This case measured at 38mm in diameter and 10mm in thickness, structured in solid 950 platinum and fortified with 904L stainless steel components, providing the case longevity and resistance against scratches.

In a pursuit of visual excellence, Berneron offers the Quantième Annuel in two diverse configurations. The first model pairs a silver dial with blue accents and the latter a black dial enhanced with grey and silver touches. Apart from their distinct finishing touches, these models are identical. The feature of 18k white gold hands pair beautifully with lacquered dials crafted in 18k gold. In addition, both models present Barenia leather straps, narrowing from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the 904L stainless steel buckles. The piece’s visual charm lies in its subtly complex design—a classic round watch reinterpreted.
