Frédérique Constant, a brand synonymous with demystifying complex timepieces, unveils three new variants of its lauded Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture.

Renowned for bringing high complications within the reach of more individuals, Frédérique Constant has further osmified its reputation with the introduction of three new versions of the renowned Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture. Originally launched in 2016, the brand’s perpetual calendar timepiece was then the most affordable of its kind, a reflection of the brand’s commitment to accessibility.

Almost a decade later, improvements such as the salmon dial variant brought into play earlier this year, have carried the Classic Perpetual Calendar Manufacture brand to new heights. The recent unveiling comprises three distinct versions - two in stainless steel with sunray blue or silver dials, and a more exclusive iteration in form of an 18k yellow gold version paired with a black onyx dial.

Characterised by silver-coloured indices and dauphine-style hands, the dials of steel models ensure sharp readability with subdials displaying day, date, and month indicators, enriched by a beautiful moon phase display. The dial of the gold version asserts a bolder statement with the use of a black onyx stone and polished gold indices.

All three models incorporate the upgraded in-house calibre FC-776, doubling the power reserve from 38 to 72 hours. As an ode to the watchmaking craft, the movement is decorated with perlage and fan-shaped Côtes de Genève and features a partially exposed rotor.

With pricing continuing to carry a crucial role in the narrative, the stainless steel iterations retail for EUR 9,995, while the onyx-dial gold variant is tagged at EUR 29,995, limited to 37 pieces, making it a worthwhile investment for horology enthusiasts.
