On the 10th anniversary of its revered Pioneer collection, H. Moser & Cie. presents a splendid new timepiece, Pioneer Flying Hours, at Geneva Watch Days 2025.

H. Moser & Cie. marked the 10th anniversary of its celebrated Pioneer collection with an event at Geneva Watch Days 2025. The revered Swiss watch manufacturer paid homage to the Pioneer’s refined yet sporty lineage with the release of a stunning new timepiece, the Pioneer Flying Hours. This watch showcases a highly innovative flying hours satellite display, a significant update of the brand’s core system. The Pioneer Flying Hours is available in two versions: a standard-production stainless steel model or an exclusive 100-piece limited edition crafted from a luxurious blend of red gold and titanium. This model unveils the current hour through a trio of apertures in the dial, with the minutes represented by a centrally-mounted skeletonized disc. The Pioneer Flying Hours is a revealment of H. Moser & Cie.’s continuous drive for horological innovation. The brand debuted a flying hours display with the Endeavor Flying Hours launch in 2018. However, the new Pioneer Flying Hours timepiece has witnessed a considerable design evolution compared to the original model. Unlike the gradual change from one hour to the next visible on the 2018 Endeavor, the Pioneer’s trio of discs are hidden beneath the dial. The time display leaps instantaneously to display the next hour upon each hour’s commencement, providing an intuitive user experience. The Pioneer Flying Hours series consciously demur from the brand’s earlier visually technical approach. Instead, the series embraces an amplified legibility via a less technical aesthetic. Despite this less technical appearance, the updated Pioneer Flying Hours boasts an even more intricate mechanism. The simplified dial devoid of any hour markers, logos, or text subtly depicts the watch’s underlying complexity.
