The Newly Launched MB&F LM101 EVO: Rethinking Classic Luxury with Enhanced Features and Futuristic Look
Stepping into the world of high-end horology, MB&F piques interest with its latest marvel, the MB&F LM101 EVO. Introduced as part of its Geneva Watch Days 2025 novelties, the ultra-luxurious brand brings a more daily-wearable, exuberant vibe to the LM101 collection. Despite the additions, the watch maintains the charm of the architectural panache that earmarked the line’s earlier success.
Debuting in 2014, the LM101 gained prominence for its simplicity and elegance. The LM101 EVO, although keeping its width at 40mm like its predecessors, reimagines the design in an avant-garde manner. What adds to its edgy, modern aesthetics is the case dappled in new titanium, a feature that presents a contrasting dark allure.
The LM101 EVO, however, is slightly taller, standing at an impressive 16.5mm. While the extra height is mostly in the crystal, how it translates wearing comfort remains a mystery. The LM101 EVO also focuses on resilience. It’s a step towards making the sophisticated, exotic design wearable daily, with the addition of a water resistance capability of up to 80 meters. Other enhancements include a screw-down crown and revised construction. The addition of MB&F’s patented FlexRing shock absorption system further increases the durability of the watch.
While changes to the watch case are dramatic, shifting the dial options to update forward of the line’s look have also been included.
