Norqain Unveils the Wild One 'Stan the Man' Limited Edition Watch in Honor of Tennis Champion Stan Wawrinka

Norqain, a renowned player in sport watch production, has launched an exclusive timepiece honoring Swiss tennis star Stan Wawrinka. Named the Wild One ‘Stan the Man’ Limited Edition, this watch encapsulates the spirit of Wawrinka’s thrilling tennis career, mirroring the player’s dynamic and indefatigable spirit on the court.\ The limited-edition series consists of only 85 units, corresponding to Wawrinka’s birth year, 1985. This limited number demonstrates the brand’s commitment to delivering unique, high-value timepieces that celebrate individuality, resilience, and the spirit of sport.\ Crafted with intricate consideration and distinct attention to detail, this watch’s case architecture is composed of 25 separate components. The model’s sandblasted titanium case holds the watch movement, while a proprietary material, NORTEQ, forms a durable protective cage enveloped by custom-made screws. This unique timepiece is made even more remarkable by its yellow-green rubber shock absorber—a playful nod to the color of a tennis ball.\ The sporty design is carried through on the dial, which is openworked to allow full visibility of the movement. Matte black plates and bridges pair brilliantly with rhodium-plated hands and markers. Yellow-green Super-LumiNova inserts and tracks around the dial and on the angled inner flange match the shock absorber to create a playful color contrast.\ Within the watch, an automatic, openworked calibre NB08S runs at 4Hz and stores up to 41 hours of power reserve. This COSC-certified chronometer is based on the Sellita SW200 architecture. A specially decorated sapphire crystal back embellished with an image of Stan Wawrinka and the dates of his three Grand Slam victories rounds off the special touch.\ Participation and memory are central to the Wild One ‘Stan the Man’ watch, with a commemorative selection presented in a polished chrome spherical watch box.
