A Tribute to Heritage: Unveiling of the Tiffany Blue Time for Speed Clock

Luxury powerhouse LVMH is expanding its horizons by delving into ventures that are closely related to watch making. Its noteworthy acquisitions include renowned brand Tiffany & Co. in 2019, known for its eclectic range of watches, and Swiss clockmaker L’Epée in 2024. Although neither Tiffany nor L’Epée are traditional watchmakers, their synergy with LVMH has fostered an innovative output.

In August 2024, the alliance forged a path to introduce an airplane clock, followed by a string of automobile clocks, credited to Tiffany and made by L’Epée. Their collaboration has unveiled yet another marvel, the Time for Speed Clock, available in a resplendent Tiffany Blue® shade. The clock has also been previously released in black and another version encrusted with dazzling diamonds around the time display.

The clock’s Swiss-made chasis, painted in Tiffany Blue® automotive paint, also includes stainless steel spokes and rims, durable rubber tyres, and a glass dome enclosing the driver’s seat. The time can be adjusted by rotating the three-spoke steering wheel anti-clockwise whereas the movement is operated by drawing the car backwards on a plane surface.

Measuring 6.2" wide x 15.2" long x 4.7" high, this aesthetically pleasing clock weighs 10.3lbs. The non-diamond variant of the Time for Speed Clock is priced at a hefty $45,000. This detailed embodiment of Swiss precision, expert craftsmanship, and Tiffany’s coveted lineage, truly redefines the perimeters of luxurious timekeeping.
