Boldr and Worn & Wound Collaborate to Craft a Unique, Striking Timepiece for 2025 Cancer Ride

Boldr and Worn & Wound partner with designer Matt Smith-Johnson to design a distinctive wristwatch to mark the 2025 Ride to Conquer Cancer.

While Boldr wristwatches have not typically held universal appeal due to their seemingly chunky style, the brand has garnered a loyal following for their unique aesthetic and exceptional value. This trend appears to continue with their recent collaboration with Worn & Wound and designer Matt Smith-Johnson to create a timepiece marking the 2025 Ride to Conquer Cancer. This watch, the Worn & Wound x Boldr Conquer LE, introduces a fresh take on an earlier model, pairing it with a vibrant strap.

The creative force behind the design, Matt Smith-Johnson, is no stranger to the realm of horology. With past collaborations with Vero, Laco, and Undone under his belt, and his enthusiasm for cycling, Smith-Johnson was the ideal partner for this project. The watch, grounded in Boldr’s Venture platform, brings a 12-hour bezel into play, offering interesting contrast to the typical dive bezel.

Despite the height added by nylon NATO straps, the watch manages to remain comfortable. Accompanying the NATO strap is a limited production sailcloth strap from StrapHabit, amplifying the colorful statement of this otherwise sophisticated watch.
