Oris Unveils Suave New Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph: A Nostalgic Fusion of Mid-Century Charm and Modern Mechanics
Regarded widely for its vintage appeal and easy-going aesthetics, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five series adds anew, presenting a suave ocean green chronograph. This new release is a testament to the brand’s mission of integrating mid-century allure with the versatility of a modern diver watch. The collection, which has been under continual evolution since its re-introduction in 2015, now boasts a complete family of neo-retro divers and sport-oriented daily wearers. The recently released Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph debuts a nostalgic design, alongside an upgraded functionality set that adds to its practical charm.
The stunning metallic dial pairs a delicate sunray silver-grey base with contrasting dark green sub-dials, ensuring the timepiece stands out as a statement piece. Echoing the legacy of its predecessors, the index at 12 o’clock retains its shield shape, and the hands and indices are filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring seamless legibility.
At the watch’s core is the Oris calibre 771 (Sellita SW510), a modern automatic chronograph movement providing a noteworthy 62-hour power reserve, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch comes with either a black Cervo Volante deer leather strap, ethically sourced with a steel pin buckle, or a stainless steel bracelet for a more sporty feel. The green dial legend is set to be available from July 2025 and priced at CHF 4,000 on a leather strap, while the bracelet model is priced at CHF 4,200.
