Seiko Unveils the Prospex Jaws 50th Anniversary King Turtle SRPL81, A Tribute to Movie History

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of ‘Jaws’, the milestone of thriller and horror cinema, Seiko presents its commemorative timepiece, the Prospex Jaws 50th Anniversary SRPL81. With a design unmistakably inspired by the movie, this limited edition is based on the revered King Turtle diver model, offering a striking combination of vintage charm and modern sensibilities.

The King Turtle watch, already known for its robust design and outstanding features, evolves further with this exclusive edition. The utilisation of contemporary, high-end materials lends the watch superior durability, while the iconic design elements of the original King Turtle are meticulously preserved.

This Seiko x Jaws edition maintains the premium build of King Turtle watches with improved materials. This edition replaces the Hardlex crystal with a sapphire one to offer enhanced scratch resistance and includes a magnifier over the day-date window. The ceramic insert in the bezel resists scratches and is adorned with a luminescent pearl, with the dark blue shade emphasizing the maritime theme.
