Moritz Grossmann Unveils New GMT Variations Accentuated by Luscious Guilloché Dials

Exemplifying German craftsmanship, Moritz Grossmann introduces vibrant green and orange hand-guilloché dials to its GMT watch collection.

Timepiece purveyor Moritz Grossmann is well known for emulating the finest techniques of “Schönstes Deutsches Handwerk”, or supreme German craftsmanship. Known for their innovation, they’re heralding a new era in watchmaking with the introduction of two radiant variants of their GMT watch, featuring hand-guilloché dials in evocative summer hues.

First released in 2019, the original GMT model showcased modestry with its 41mm gold cases and sophisticated argenté and champagne dials. However, the 2025 models diverge from the path of subtlety, embodying a refreshing vibrancy with eye-catching green and orange guilloché dials.

A key feature of the GMT watch is its user-friendliness, married harmoniously with a lavish aesthetic presentation. Local time is indicated with lance-shaped hands - heat-annealed to a charming blue on the green variant and polished steel on the orange one - and a subtle seconds counter at 6 o’clock. Home time or an alternate time zone is displayed on the peripheral flange using a 24-hour scale and a rotating arrow-shaped pointer.

To salute the stunning guilloché work, applied hour markers are eschewed in favour of dots printed on the sloping area of the flange. The crown on the case at 10 o’clock adjusts the arrow indicator in hourly increments without disrupting the central hands. A captivating blend of beauty and functionality, each timepiece embodies craftsmanship at its finest, evident in every precise and well-thought-out detail.
