Seiko unveils an emerald green PADI edition of its prestigious Prospex SPB501 Diver’s Watch, adding a vibrant splash of color to their classic model.

Seiko recently stepped up its game with the launch of the Prospex SPB501 PADI special edition, a variant of the popular 62MAS model. The diver’s watch stands out with its emerald green aluminium bezel and matching dial, adorned with a unique wave and sunburst motif. Inside the 40mm stainless steel case lies Seiko’s sophisticated 24-jewel in-house automatic 6R55 caliber operating at 3Hz – delivering a remarkable power reserve of 72 hours.

Notably, the SPB501 model stands out in the Prospex series with its 300-meter depth rating, making it a genuine tool for any diver. The emerald green dial not only strikes a bold fashion statement but also features useful dive markings and the PADI logo, the largest diving training organization worldwide.

The intriguing combination of unique color, PADI co-branding, and a special recycled strap might be a persuasive argument for some to justify the $1,650 price tag of the special edition, a $350 bump from the standard models. The Seiko Prospex SPB501 PADI Edition certainly proves itself as an exciting new addition to any watch collection, especially for diving enthusiasts.
