ArtyA Revolutionises its Luminity Collection with the Debut of Proprietary Micro-Rotor Calibre and New Design

Swiss watchmaker ArtyA, no stranger to innovative creative explorations, heralds a new phase for its Luminity Collection. This evolution centres on the introduction of the Calibre AMR-02, the brand’s first proprietary micro-rotor movement, underpinning both visual appeal and chronometric performance.\ The surprise doesn’t stop there though; the signature sculptural case now comes in Grade 5 titanium or full sapphire, providing an intriguing balance between sleek modernity and rugged strength.\ The ArtyA Luminity Wavy collection stands out with its recognisable ‘Wavy’ case redesigned for this series in a 40mm diameter and 13mm thickness. The case, modish in either full Grade 5 titanium or full sapphire, imbues organic, dynamic contours for a wholly fluid visual experience. The titanium boasts full sandblasting and a protective DLC coating making it both resilient and lightweight. The sapphire versions are sculpted from one of the hardest minerals on Earth, with hand-polished surfaces capturing and bouncing light across the contours, embellishing the architecture of the case.\ The collection offers two dial configurations. The first is a full, clear or tinted sapphire dial offering visibility of the movement. Despite the transparency, brushed and diamond-polished markers ensure legibility. The second dial option incorporates meteorite or aventurine stones into the centre section, uniting texture with the watch’s mechanical performance while still providing partial sight of the movement.\ The heart of the new Luminity Wavy models is the AMR-02, an automatic movement made by Swiss movement specialist Telos. This slim 3.6mm calibre uses a tungsten micro-rotor chosen for its mass and efficiency while offering an 82-hour power reserve. This collection is limited to 99 pieces per configuration with prices starting at CHF 17,900.
