Dive into Luxury: The Brellum Pandial Marina Tricompax Chronometer Unveiled
Brellum, the Swiss watchmaker, lauded for its well-built vintage-inspired chronographs, unveiled its latest marvel, the Pandial Marina Tricompax Chronometer in 2017. Founded in 2016 by Sébastien Muller, Brellum solidifies its reputation in the luxury watch industry by producing around 299 watches a year and utilizing a direct sales approach to maintain competitive pricing.
Their latest offering, the Pandial Marina, demonstrates a distinct preference for nautical activities. It sports a COSC-certified La Joux-Perret base column-wheel chronograph, available in two case materials and features a nautical tachymeter scale for sailing enthusiasts.
Adorned with a 43mm diameter case and a 15.9mm thickness including a glassbox sapphire crystal over the dial, the timepiece further impresses with its domed sapphire exhibition window on the caseback. Water-resistant up to 100 metres, the models are available in stainless steel or ultra-light and corrosion-resistant grade 5 titanium, both featuring a mix of polished and brushed finishes.
The Marina model is powered by the BR-110 calibre used in the Pandial Bicompax and Duobox models released last year. This model relies on a La Joux-Perret column-wheel chronograph movement with a sturdy 60-hour power reserve and COSC chronometer certification. The movement finished with perlage, blue screws, stripes and a customized open-worked rotor is visible through the sapphire crystal on the caseback.
With production limited to only 23 pieces for each model, the titanium Brellum Pandial Marina Tricompax retails for CHF 3,690, making it an exclusive luxury asset for a nautical adventurer.
