Stunning New Timepiece Alert: The iconic MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Unveiled in a Show-stopping Metallic Purple Colorway

The renowned luxury watchmaker, MB&F has introduced its latest masterpiece, a limited-edition HM8 Mark 2 watch in a mesmerizing metallic purple shade. In 2023, the Mark 2, an ingenious interpretation of the classic driver’s watch, was launched initially in a standard white, before a yearly colour update. After hosting colours like British racing green and glossy blue, it is now presented in a vibrant metallic purple that is all too attractive to the MB&F aficionados.

The intricately designed case draws inspiration from the automotive world, boasting grade 5 titanium and panels of CarbonMacrolon at the top and bottom. This proprietary CarbonMacrolon, a perfect blend of a polymer base with carbon nanotubes, weighs eight times less than its steel equivalent, adding a lightweight facet to the luxurious piece. Metallic pigments, akin to those in auto paints, vividly colour the panels turning them into a deep, saturated shade of purple.

The color scheme leans toward the cooler side, with a crown featuring a ‘double de-clutch’ system where to change the time, one has to slightly push in the crown and give it a three-quarters turn to release the mechanism. The HM8 Mark 2 in Purple retails for $88,000 and is available at all MB&F retailers.
